A Game to Play

by
After learning of yet another person who was banned from FA for a 'repeat offense' committed by PAST works of an artist, I decided to try and remove some of my work that might result in the same for myself.

I quickly found that, however... Unfortunately, my eye is so blind to it that I don't know what they'll all me out for. So I guess that all that is left is to play the game of "How long before Asdfjkl03 is permanently banned from FurAffinity?"

If you guys could, could you point out those images that might be infractions? Though.. If I do get banned in the end it won't necessarrily be a massive loss. \3;

You should just focus your bun-related efforts here~

Haha... I've already done that |3.

Though, using that script to upload my files unfortunately didn't grab my scraps... so i'm going to have to go through and back everything up manually there.

Well I'm pretty sure that wouldn't bother anyone who watches you, mrahah~ <3
Everyone will be happy to see both the old and new bun-related softness~ l3

Honestly most or all of the porn you have on that account could conceivably be construed as cub porn by some FA admin at some point in time. Most of the characters *look* relatively young whether they're meant to be or not. You also have "Russet's Heat" uploaded here and tagged cub, as well as uploaded on FA, and uploads have been considered infractions on FA based on being tagged cub/loli/shota here before!

If you really want to keep your FA account, you should probably just remove all pornographic works there alltogether.

Seems to be about right. Though, Russet's heat is tagged cub on request by someone during the early days of IB... You know, around the time that a mass email was sent out to everyone from some guy recommending that everyone leave the site because IB has cub porn.  I think I'll go ahead and remove it because it's unnecessary in the first place... =_=

*goes to back up all of scraps, then remove it*

Heh heh... it's kinda funny how Furcollector's ban notice specifically points out Inkbunny as the link reroute...

They implied it on mine as well, but I remember them pointing it out on other ban notices as well...
I seriously doubt it's coincident. Pretty sure InkBunny is just marked as a cub site to them. =_=

But then again, it's all the more reason for me to not make an account on FA~

Combed through all but your scraps and here's the ones that I would suggest removing to stay off of admins radar. Some of them I'm honestly in  grey areas for (and I marked them as such.) but better safe than sorry right? hope I could help a bit *hugs

Thank you very much. I've decided to go ahead with kitaness's idea and just remove all adult work from the site, since they're more or less bound to go after anything. Wish i could transfer my watch list over to another account for safety or something.

*nods though there are a few in your gallery that aren't really adult that they could throw up the red flags on. Just saying, consider them too.

This makes me sad, all those comments and pics gone. :( I understand it must be done.

if it's even slightly sugestive and cute at the same time some tool admin at FA will get a god complex and start beating off to deleteing your submissions and banning you. Just remove everything adult from FA.

As far as I can see: You can't be sure not to get banned. It is not the admins searching through FA for art that violents the rules. They ban, when they get a ticket with a report. Without looking at the art if it is warrantable, it seems. And without speaking to the artist in case of doubt. So it is always a game of luck. If no one reports you, you can post nearly everything. If someone reports you, your chances are bad, even if youf art is OK in the rules.

For my money, it seems like a total waste of time to try;  1) There's no reliable consensus  on what exactly is disallowed.  2) FA's in-gallery deletion system is perhaps the most grueling manual labor in all of the internet.  3) Lastly, if they're going to play the role of "Internet centurion, wielder of the great ban hammer Mjolnir" why should you be busting your ass to do their job for them?  Let them do their own job and let the pieces fall wherever they may(after all they have proven that they can decide whether an artist is in violation or not purely by their own opinion rather than by proper evidence).

This is very, very true... But I kind of want to keep my account so that I can keep up with artists who haven't come over to IB, so i don't necessarily want the pieces to fall into place  too easily.

In that case I'd recommend focusing more on communicating with the artists you're trying to keep up with than figuring out the admins' thoughts on your gallery ^o^;
