Resolution for the New Year of 2020

Greetings, bienvenue, and a happiest of new years to anyone and everyone who's still following me after all this time of dormancy. I hope you have all been well.

Honestly, I only really have one real new year's resolution, and that's to upload more consistently.

Throughout 2019, I hit my all-time low at uploading stuff, with 8 art pieces (not counting the MSPaP comic) and 2 stories, in stark comparison to 2018, where I uploaded 8 art pieces and 11 stories.

Needless to say, that's disgustingly low, even by my standards.

The truth of the matter is, I DO have plenty to upload, I'm just lacking motivation. At this point, I'm stagnating TOO much, not uploading stuff that's long since been completed.

I'm aware that very little people care about my art ideas and commissions, and my stories even less so, but still, I feel I need to get my head back in the game and get back to uploading, if for no one else, then for me.

That's the sole thing that I'm hoping to get better at this year. So, I'm going to try a new initiative--I'm gonna upload something on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule, like an upload every Friday or something. One or two uploads a week or every other week for a whole year.

I can't promise that I'll stick to this idea of a schedule, but what I can promise is that you will be seeing more uploads from me this year alone, that I can assure you.

If you've read this far and have been with me for this long, all I have to say is thanks. I know it's a bit sappy, but it really means a lot. I hope you guys like what I have cooked up.

To the future.

I also don't upload very often and i have some really old pics i've still have yet to post but that's only because i do not get commissions that often so i like to let things build up so that there won't be long periods of time where i can't post anything. i'd rather have something than nothing. This is also why i always post at least 4-5 pics whenever i do upload.

Also you would not have any followers if very few people cared about your stuff. Even if not too many people follow your work, upload and get art because you want it and want to share it with the rest of us, not just for the attention (it will come eventually i assure you).

True, you do have some good points.

I won't lie, when I first started doing this, I was kinda annoyed that I wasn't getting as much attention as I was hoping. But after hanging out with a friend of mine for a while, I've learned...well, essentially what you said--that I should upload and work on art that I want to do because I like it, not to appease a certain niche or anyone in particular. And if that happens to happen, then that's a bonus in my book.

Plus, like you said, stockpiling all of my works and uploading them at my own pace just means I have lots to upload that could potentially last me through the year, with any luck.

Anywho, sorry for the late reply, but thanks for this, bud. I really needed to hear (or rather read) something like this. Appreciate it.
