2020 Year-Begin

Happy New Year

...I guess? To be honest, just like last journal, I'm kinda glum. Last year I started off with hopes and dreams. This year I start off with a little bit heartburn and a lot of anxiety.

I'm going to have to break out of the analogous "hole-digging" rut I'm in, with regard to writing, and focus on things. Gotta get back into the habit of time-boxing.

I plan on more pictures and short-stories to go along with them. I continue to look for other pictures that inspire a story within me, and as always I'm open to suggestion but there's no guarantees.

I think the biggest thing I need this year is maybe some positive change in my personal life... Though if I'm to judge based on current trends it seems like the only big changes are negative. We'll see, though.

Gonna go find some Tums and pass out.

Yes, Happy New Year.

I have big hopes for the new year too. Though it didn't start good. I was watching the ball drop on TV with my dad. We had five minutes to go, then our Drirect TV unit shuts down. It restarts to doing a system check that can take up to an hour. So, we stared the year without getting to see it. -.-

To add insult to injury, after our Drirect TV unit finished its re-setup, the main menu is not working now. As we click to move in the menu, it jumps two or more spots every time, making it very hard to select what we want. It is a real pain to use now. I would not call that a good start to the year. -.-

I do however have a story I am meaning to finish, and will be working on the final chapter today. It is a drawing, well two drawings, by someone else that had inspired me to make the story about them both, I am almost done with.

I had stated in comments I thought one of the drawings looked like it should have a story behind it. The one whom owns the drawing replied, "Plot twist, you make the story." My reply, "Is that a request?" The final reply by the owner. "If you want to." And now, I have an almost finished new story, that should be ready to post by the end of this week. So I will be starting this year off with one finished project. ^.^

Yeah, is good to have some positive changes to ones life. I had a few last year. I intend to try and create some more.

I did use to sleep to music, but my alarm I get up to is set to a radio station, and after having gotten use to sleeping to music on, my radio alarm was not getting me up on time back then. So I had to stop sleeping to music. That has not been an issue for the past few years now. I admit, it was nice falling asleep to music back when I did do that.
