Hey Good Morning everyone

I have something to say for who all reads this...

I am quitting my job to continue my pursuit on my art career, In which I have been told that I should keep my job but in all honesty even though the job pays well I am not going to stay there after now knowing that I cant comfortably flex my hours so that I can work with my commissions, projects, and future plans that I have for you all.

I do like to work and I don't mind getting my hands dirty while working, but the job that I have now is too stressful and has been taking a negative dive onto myself.

I want to give a brief simple Q&A under this post.
Q:Why are you quitting

A: The job is simply too much, not saying that the work is hard but the people and the scheduling is not what I have in mind, I want a job to where I can focus freely on art and I can focus on getting ready for work with flexible hours, me being the only grill cook does not help, especially when no one wants to help.
========
Q:Why don't you just get a part time job.

A:I plan on getting a part time job, in fact that was the original plan to do so, but I was forced to work full time as I was the only grill cook there being hired, after the previous one quit due to the same reason of being over worked and over stressed to the point to where he left out after arguing with the boss/owner.
=======
Q:Why focus on art rather then working

A: Because its my passion, I been working on a steady schedule to provide everyone with something they like, and I work hard doing so, I planned out my commissions, streams, and other things, I would not be here this far if it wasn't for my fans.
=======
Q:how much is even your rent

A: My rent is 300 a month which I easily make due to a good friend who sponsors me, and all my fans who has been commissioning me since the beginning of my digital art commission career.
=======
Q: what if you can't make ends meet

A: Then simply I need to get gud and get working or I cant meet ends meet.
=======
Q: you do know that commissions are not stable right

A: yes I do but I make way more then enough to pay rent, bills, and food each month so theres no excuse on why im late on bills unless I am short, in which why I do sketch streams and vice versa.
=======
Q: okay so your going to sacrifice a well paying job for a barely stable job? why tho?

A: as I will say this again, this is for me, I don't need to prove my worth towards anyone, because I know my worth and I know how hard I can work myself into becoming better, I especially don't want negative vibes going into 2020 with or anywhere near me, if things don't work out I am more then mature enough to suck up my pride and get a job like all the other artist who gave up halfway or in the beginning.

Wait, 300 a month? As in 300 American dollars? Where can I find apartments that cheap?

I'd recommend looking for a part time job while still working full time dude, at least then you have a full back. It'd be a smart idea, or atleast consider this after getting some savings set up. But find a part time job while still working there bud.

I already am doing that though, but I still wont be able to work on art while im there, as much as I want to do it that way I can't due to bad management.

I highly suggest just staying there till you have a back up job.

's mention: wait until you have a part-time job secured (or even go to HR and make them switch you to part time) that way you do not lose your income right away. Make sure to get the part-time written in contract and if possible, get the times you'd be working written in too.

You can still look for a job, but at least make sure you have a job first before you put in your two-week's notice. Leave on a good note so that you can enter your new job a lot easier and with little income-issue during the transfer.
