After I posted the “Loving my Bunnie” picture I’ve been getting several PM messages on it. All have been good and very nice comments and I thank everyone for them. But most of them were saying I must really like Bunnie Rabbot and a few were just wondered why. So, instead of replying back to everyone I just decided to write down in my journal the main reason why I love Bunnie Rabbot and why she means so much to me.
In 2000-2001-ish I actually got to meet the voice actress for Bunnie Rabbot from the old Sonic SatAM cartoon Christine Cavanaugh. I was on a tour at Universal Studios Florida when the Nickelodeon studio was still around. On the tour they say keep an eye out for celebrities and when the tour was almost over she just walked out of a studio room and started waving to us. Everybody I remembered on that tour knew her mostly as Chuckie, Oblina and Dexter. But when I finally have a turn to meet her I told her personally that I loved her character of Bunnie Rabbot from the sonic cartoon series. When she heard that she started said and I kid you not in Bunnie Rabbot voice said “Oh my stars Sugah-Hog! She was y’all one of my favorites! I’m so happy y’all remembered her!” She even gave me a really nice hug. I was the only one that got a hug from her. I feel so special from that and even start to cry but my tears were happy ones. When she called me “Sugah-Hog” I couldn’t think of Bunnie with anyone else but Sonic.
I have met so many Voice actors but Christine Cavanaugh is the one I have always cherish the most. When the day came that I found out about her death I was so devastated! It made me cherish my memory of her even more. And as time passed I started browsing on Inkbunny and saw many wonderful pictures and stories of Bunnie I decided to give it a shot and put my heart into writing a story called “Best Southern Apple Pie Ever”. I feel so proud of writing it and I do plan to write more. I also plan to commission even more pictures of Bunnie with Sonic. But no matter what, every time I see Bunnie Rabbot I will always think of Christine Cavanaugh for giving me one of my most cherished moments of my life!
