I'm supposed to be drawing now, but I'll say something real quick. A friend of mine left the site after being harrassed here for the most stupid reason ever. It seems like people were picking on him for actually not drawing cub porn. Really, people? What is wrong them? If someone doesn't draw what you like, there's plenty of fish in the sea. There's Inkbunny, Baraag, Hiccears and Pixiv. Why put a person who is known for drawing clean art in such an embarrassing situation, not to add annoying?
I do like cub and I draw it, but I'm not crazy for it. I wouldn't force an artist to draw it. Although some people have, in the past, pressured me to draw a lot of stuff. Nowadays, I'm declining stuff I don't like to draw, but that doesn't mean people are being any less pressing. I just gotta continue steadily declining those. But different people have different degress of tolerance. And I figure that my friend wasn't just asked to draw things. If he used the word "harrassed", I fear he was also attacked for not complying.
This isn't a new thing. This used to happen at conventions too, if I'm not mistaken, with people pressing con-artists to draw stuff they don't like to draw. It's a manifestation of that old problem, of people not respecting boundaries. Inkbunny isn't just a cub site. People come here to post all kinds of furry art. And Inkbunny has rules and a set of principles that we have all agreed with when we made accounts here. If people have been harrassing you, there's a wide array of ways to deal with the problem, as Inkbunny allows you to "ban" people from you account, so you become invisible to them and impossible to contact. While you are it, report them as well.
