thats the issue with written commissions, its a lot easier to pass off shitty writting than shitty art... especially if it had porn in it since most people will be looking at the pictures, its also giving publicity to the writter though in a fair world you'd be right to ask for equal rewards

True but its not that hard to write a comic unless its to actually come up with the plot rather than matching words to a picture

Yep but he might just be doing something nice to give the guy advertisement to possibly get more writing commissions or maybe just give out a free copy

Again talking without knowing all the info.. judging without knowing the details, i'm glad to know you aren't politician.. lol

Of course i'm not saying is easy to write, even for an excepcional writer like you... you need inspiration, but if you use that argument i can also say that is not easy to draw well... and you can always find yourself with the "artists block".... art, doesn't matter if is writen or drawn, is not like frying burgers, it require inspiration..... Each comic page demand and average 10 hours of work (3 for sketching, 2 for inking, 5 for coloring) ...means ...doing a 10 pages long comic takes me 100 hours.. write a script page for 10 pages where 60% at least will be just sex scenes, can take ver few hours, hell i know people who can do it in half hour... do you notice the difference of effort that artists put on this?

Finally. . to reply to your "he can do himself" ....after knowing you will work 100 hours on a small comic do you think i want to spend extra hours writing the story?.. and perhaps you already notice it, but my english sucks ...is not my native lenguage and people always complain about it... it takes me a hell lot of more time to write something and proofread it properly... (most of the times i requests help to other friends to help me to fix my mistakes, and yes.. i never pay them too... that's why i call them friends)

is not that a little offensive for the writers who did scripts for me for free?.. does that means if i do pics for free to people (like i still do) are shitty pictures becouse i didn't received money? ..think about it :)

To be fair, this is bbmbbf. He's the main palcomix artist, and half their stuff does go out for free. Paying for something that doesn't generate revenue is a quick way to lose money. That having been said, asking for free help like this still rubs me the wrong way.

wow dude.. you are really wrong, first not all the comics i did are commissions i do some comics for free, like the one we just finished "babs in heat"... 2- i'm asking for help, if you don't want to help me is ok, if people pay you for your stories that's awesome, but not becouse people want to write me a script for free it means the writer will be always a shitty writer, you are insulting the friends who did scripts for me for free, i always requests writers (never offer to pay them) and there's always like 20 writers who want to take the job, from there i can choose one that gives me the best idea, that's how i like to work, in fact the commissioned commics are the ones who have the most boring or maybe "bad plot" scripts, but is becouse they are PAYING for it that those comics are done, in the case of free comics, having like 20 writers gives me the chance to choose what i'll like to do, actually is more fun to do free comics than commissions..... also, from all these years i learned there's people with taste for everything, most of people finds that pokemon ashchu comic boring, including me maybe, but there's a lot of people who love it too.. i receive a lot o feedback from it... i was near to block you becouse i don't want to start an endless discussion about why you are right or not about me... but maybe that's too much. still, if you think i'm annoying or bad person i invite you to stop reading my page.

just replyed to you minutes ago (guy, you are so dramatic) .... I receive requests for doing pictures everydays.. dozens everydays!!..people want me to do things for free to them and sometimes i do pics for free, judging by your logic, if i decide to do the pics they ask me to do and the put them on one of my private/commercial projects.. i should pay them, right?... then i should never take a request from anybody, becouse with your logic, that's like i'm exploiting them... lol

there's something you should know, for every hundred of writers here, there will be only 10 artist who can draw those stories, i'm not saying the writers are bad, imagine all them are good at their work, still doesn't matter becosue there's not enought people who can draw those stories... but of course you are telling me to find GOOD stories (perhaps like the ones you write right?) ...and those writers aren't easy to find, yes.. but at this point perhaps i don't need to draw an epic story, i want to draw just a pornographic comic, not the next Sandman... is not a hard thing to do, perhaps an AWESOME writer like you can do an amazing story, but i don't need that, i'm asking for help ot do a simple work, something that can be done by a lot of people here, i'm telling them i'll not pay them, i'm not forcing anybody, and i'm saying from the beggining what's the deal, why they should complain?, if an epic writer like you feel that is not fair trade, then they shouldn't offer their service, that's all... i'm not trying to offend anyone (like you did telling them that only shitty writers writes for free...
