Sounds like you might be getting carpal tunnel syndrome.  Seems to be common with artists. Should get it checked.

Just be careful, it would be too much of a lose for you to permanently damage your hand. I'm sure everyone would rather wait on your recovery than push you to work.

Take breaks, improve your posture, don't hold the pen so tightly, ice your hand regularly instead of after it's already started hurting, learn to draw with other body parts, quit porn to embrace your true passion of accountancy, do drugs to fill the void in your life, and/or follow your doctor's advice.

I had a similar wrist issue about a decade ago.  I took a job where I was moving around a mouse in a repetitive motion and doing copy and paste.  I really needed the money.  I was pretty sure it was carpel tunnel, so... I brought a gaming keyboard into work and set up a macro.  My productivity shot through the roof and I only had to use the mouse for the first 1 minute after coming back to the computer.  Took a month for my wrist to stop hurting.  I quit the job at that point any ways as I felt my health was more important then minimum wage and a life time of wrist pain.

Sorry to hear it.....
I've been using a keyboard more or less constantly for the last 23 years. Unitl about three years ago, everything was fine. Then I started to feel like my hand was going to sleep. That's when I found out that I had Ulner Neuropathy, which is from pressure on the Ulner nerve. At present, my left pinky and ring finger are numb more or less constantly. I've also got carpel tunnel. Throw in a little arthritis for good measure, and it's a problem. I'm seeing a neurologist in a few weeks, and I'm expecting surgery- but not until the Summer fun stuff is over!

First, I've only got myself to blame. I never mastered proper typing technic. I never used wrist supports, braces or ergonomic keyboards. I figured I'd do that stuff if I had a problem. Now I do, and I find that it's too late for prevention. The cure will be uncomfortable, expensive, and inconvenient.

Today, someone may have my amount of keyboard hours by the time they're thirty. I urge people to limit their keyboard time, use alternative technologies, and get thing checked out at the first sign of trouble. When you get the symptoms, it may already be too late. Learn good technique. I'm a one finger typist, so my wrist arches at an extreme angle. I slouch, and rest my elbow across the edge of a glass topped desk. All bad.

And limit your hours. I know that's the hardest part of all, but nothing correlates with these conditions more that the amount of time at a keyboard. That's why they call them 'repetitive stress conditions'.
