Hello everyone,
I’ve recently hit 100 watchers on FurAffinity, and nearly as many on the other platforms I upload to. I’m actually really impressed with myself for authoring stories that so many furs are interested in reading and super grateful that I’ve had such a positive response to my content. I always focus on improving and feel that my fiction gets better and better with each upload. Writing is something I really enjoy doing and want to be able to do more of- maybe even more than just as a hobby.
In a couple of months I’ll be making a major move across the country. Once I’m settled into my new home, I plan to feel out if I can ease off of working full time and earn at least part of my living via writing. I’ll probably start by opening up a Paypal/Ko-Fi “tip jar” and/or offering YCH slots on some of my many story prompts that I’ll be working on this autumn. If that goes well enough that I can open up more free time from work to write (so that it doesn’t hamper the pace of my own uploads) I will probably open for commissions. Maybe even a Patreon, way down the road if my watchers continue to grow.
In the meantime, I’m going to work on networking and my presence within the community in general. It’s about time I’ve commissioned a reference sheet and some art for my fursona, and I also want to look into making some connections with other creators for collaborative projects at some point. I’ll also start ramping up my use of Twitter to announce not only new story uploads, but when I’ll be opening up YCH and commission slots as well, so please follow me there if that interests you.
I’m hard at work on my next story, which is focused almost entirely on hypnosis, but I’ll leave the details of that up to a later journal entry of its own or a tweet.
I sincerely appreciate everyone who has watched me and favorited any of my stories so far.
