Aching To Improve!

Maaan when you think you've got it, and then you're reminded there's still much more you could potentially achieve. The feeling is a bit of a downer, but can be good as well. Best to seek steady improvement especially when carrying so much on the back. Oof! >.< Can't help but feel like I'm behind skill wise! In due time tho..

In due time, I'll focus on gaining some new digital art techniques and styles. A lot is on me brain about it! Can't let those thoughts of lacking screw up my focus on the commission backlog and projects tho, cause folks paid to get guud shyt, and I intend to give them guud shyt! xD Derailing myself means derailing everything!
In short, I'm pretty pumped up for what I've got planned, but I gotta stay focused and patient for now : ) Just thought I should share my feels, idk. Heh!

well, like you said we never stop improving but i find one key thing I've learned over time from my friends is that something you deem as "bad" or "needing improvement" might actually be a style choice that serves to your art.
some things you do might not be anatomically correct or accurate to anything but might make a stylistic look overall.

i guess my example in my art would be the spacing of eyes.
I've been told that realistically you should space the eyes with at least one distance equal to an eye between. i don't do that lol.

looking through your old stuff and your new stuff, honestly, it feels more like you've hit the point of style change over dramatic levels of improvement, as both are very good but in very different respects, even with pros and cons factored in.
not saying you shouldn't try to improve. everyone should always try to better themselves. it staves off stagnation and keeps things rollin'. just don't underestimate yourself by any means. that's a mistake I've fallen into for years lol.
and worse case, it never hurts to try new things.
