Okay, the title is al least SLIGHTLY ironic, but for crying out loud, first my boss talks me into buying a motorcycle, then he keeps me out until 2am getting me drunk, THEN he says "We're meeting at 9AM and are going to be riding all day tomorrow!"
Plus, we still don't know whether or not the owner of the company is going to be joining us.
That's a bit irresponsible of the boss - unfortunately it's not that uncommon. I think they're testing your resolve, but if you crash, it's partly on them. I just hope you'll be okay.
There is a common practice in China for martial artists where they take you out for a big feast, get you very drunk, and then as you return to your hotel, you'll find all the masters waiting for you and you have to perform your kata for them, regardless of how sloshed you are, because if you truly know your forms, it's all muscle memory!
All I can suggest in future is to never let down your guard, especially if a superior is apparently feeling generous.

Yeah, if it was truly dangerous, we wouldn't have gone out, really. He trips a fine line between responsible, and WTF were you thinking, but he stays on the responsible side pretty good. You're right, though, it's always best to keep on your toes around him. He won't stb you in the back, but you might find a "Kick me" note pinned to it
