What is it with Sega and randomly swapping VAs, and then choosing terrible fits for the characters lol? He sounds like a stereotype high school dweeb, on level with Jet's new terrible VA ( https://youtu.be/BR_Fx9uAzyE?t=38 )
I mean really, the new VA isn't even TRYING to sound like the old Silver, who DID have a distinct voice. It's one thing if the character is NEW or something, but to be brought on to voice a character who already has a distinct sound, and then to just use your normal fucking voice instead of trying to at least sound similar, is so lazy and stupid imo. It's the same crappy voice actor that they have for Sword Art Online, a guy who sounds the same in every single role he does.
It's actually the same guy from Sonic Forces, but for some reason, he changed the way Silver sounds. I just looked it up myself and was surprised to know that it's the same guy. Right now, he sounds a lot like Chat Noir, but he doesn't even voice him. It's really strange.

Maybe there is some shenanigans going on or something, cuz Quinton is listed as the VA for Sonic Team Racing on IMDB too, but it doesn't sound anything like him in the actual clip. Either way, whatever is going on with Silver's voice is horrible X'D What are they thinking?

Hey, I am Quinton Flynn fangirl here... If that IS him.. It sounds like he did the recording with a stuffy nose and them digitally altering his voice a slight. I never really known Quinton to sound like that. But who knows, maybe Sega asked him to change his voice for Silver or what not.
