It probably sounds silly, but I'd love to visit County Mayo, Ireland, to see the stomping grounds of the real, original Grace O'Malley. That Grace was a 16th Century Irish woman, famed as a pirate, who not only had the clout to rule over a pretty decent chunk of Ireland after her father's death, but to poke the occupying English in the eye at the height of their tenure as a global, colonial power.
