So, at my church (yes I do attend) today they wanted to celebrate not just mothers, but all women. The pastor asks all the women to stand up. They do, but I remain seated, because I didn't want their disapproval, and for them to stop me after the service and lecture me about how I was made to be a man. The pastor says "Not all the women are standing." I know he's not talking about the woman in the wheelchair. I gather my courage and stand up...
Nobody tells me to sit back down! I don't even get preached at after service.
