Things and Stuff

It's been a little while, and I should probably say what has been going on the past couple weeks.
Thanks to those that helped and adopted my characters, things have cleared up...well hopefully. The way my bank likes to handle money, they almost screwed up my plans. If something didn't go right, I'll probably find out within a week or so, but hopefully they did go the way I need and I'll be fine.

Also thanks to some nice computer people here, I did also get my desktop up and running again. And I think it'll be going for some time longer before something else dies. *Crosses fingers, and knocks on wood*

As for what happens now, with all the important needs taken care of, I have a good amount of spare cash for the rest of the month. Will that mean that I'm going to get a ton of art again? NO! Just one or two pieces this month from my Patreon rewards and small commissions. I'm not going to spend all the extra money I have.

And one list thing, just some piece of advice for some people. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

It is sometimes called "The Golden Rule".
If you treat people nicely and with respect, they will treat you the same way. Or at least they should.
If I talked to someone nicely, but then they treat me like I'm a jerk, well then, I'll return the favor and treat them like a jerk too.

Tbh i prefer the satanist approach: "Do onto others as they do onto you" be nice to nice people be a jerk to jerks do not assume everyone will automatically be nice to you, and feel free to be petty and vindictive when you are wronged

Most of the time, I end up talking with people in retail, and working in retail for a decade, I know how it feels to be shitted on. So I treat them nicely and try to make them happy with a joke or something funny.
The rest of the time, it's over the internet, there I just be myself mostly, which is an asshole that is very sarcastic so to hide the crippling anxiety I have.

I understand the reasoning behind this but I hate spreading negativity personally. If someone really truly deserves it and cannot reasonably be ignored or if someone is being a jerk to someone else then yeah I’ll do onto them any day of the week. But I have found through experience that a lot of the time (not all the time or necessarily most of the time) the jerks are only being jerks in the moment and are actually not bad people.

It takes more effort to try to be friendly and positive to someone who is being a jerk but I’d rather put in the effort than become the momentary jerk myself when I inevitably misunderstand someone as being a jerk.
