you ever start to dose off and fall asleep

but then you see something and get so annoyed that it makes you wide awake again specifically so you can address it

I started dosing off to sleep behind the wheel of a car. And when you find out you are starting to drift into the path of a truck, that gets you wide awake real fast.

yep, unfortunately. except replace "see" with "think of" heheh
