I'm still amazed that it's finally happening, but my second book of poems has been picked up for publication. And by Weasel Press (https://www.weaselpress.com/), a press near and dear to the furry world!
The book, titled The Ceremonial Armor of the Impostor, is a novel-in-verse-ish collection featuring two thematically related sequences of narrative poems.
One, inspired by The Return of Martin Guerre, horror anime, etc., follows a lost mercenary soldier in his journey across a dark fantasy version of 16th-century Europe.
The other, inspired largely by The Count of Monte Cristo, concerns a disaffected young man and his unlikely relationship with a mysterious lion-headed baron.
This book has been a long time in the works, and I'm so excited to be sharing it.
