#1: It's a matter of time until I'm employed.
When I'm employed, I'll have much less time to spend on art. On this, the other announcements depend.
#2: This issue of Soy Milk will be the last one in comic format.
This issue of Soy Milk is taking over 10 months to complete. I can't push one issue per year. Comics are taxing, very hard to do, full of detail and coloring it requires dedication I no longer have.
#3: Soy Milk will move to illustrated story format.
That doesn't mean I'll give up on Soy Milk. I'll do it like I did Renato's Macro Mishap. I might as well make it a Ren'Py kinetic novel. It actually takes less time, because bigger pictures are easier to color and take less time to do, compared to comics. Plus, in bigger pictures, I can better work the characters' anatomy. I also got a collaborator to color my stuff.
#4: I'm retiring from requests.
In ten years of being a furry, I have been open for requests for most of the time. When I'm finally working, I'll have no time at all to work on requests, unless I want to sacrifice Soy Milk.
#5: I won't be legally allowed to do commissions.
There's a law in Brazil that says that, if you are working for the State, you can't have another income source. The idea is to force you to give your very best, which is aided by the pretty decent wage. So, I won't be able to monetize my art or music.
#6: I'll still open for trades once in a while.
When on "vacation", I'll have time to do that and some gifts for dear people.
