Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen
Today has been really rather a productive day, especially in terms of the forthcoming second chapter of The Liberation of Camp Kilo. Simply put, it is now in a position where I could publish the second chapter; just not a very good second chapter.
That may not sound especially promising, so I would like to explain my own writing process. Basically, once I have a setup I tend to write individual scenes and events within that setup. The benefit of this is that I find it easy to take a character and go "well, what would so-and-so do in this situation?". The downside is that if I'm not careful I wind up with a bunch of scenes and no good way to link them, like a David Cage game. Well, today I tied together three such scenes, and doubled one of those scenes' length besides. I can't say exactly when Liberation chapter 2 will be ready to publish, but I really don't expect it to take very long. If it isn't out in a week's time, I'll be surprised.
