I've realized that my most recent event, the character questionnaire, and shrink drive, has generated no interest whatsoever. As such I've decided that I will run no further micro/macro drives as I'm trying to appeal to a general audience instead of that small niche. Additionally, I am going to rework all of my YCH to appeal to a wider audience in an effort to increase my brand. What kinds of events would everyone like to see? Leave a comment below if you have an idea.
Alternatively, the cheaper way to support what I do is to take advantage of my discounted YCH rate! Plot ideas can be found below:
YCH Ideas: ($7.50 per 1000 words.)
1. Adventure story possibly involving Pokemon or other critters capable of fighting. Experience your character in a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon like setting. The plot will include conflict, mystery, combat, and an unrealistic goal which is ultimately achieved through grit and hard work.
2. Cub gets a growth hormone shot and it does the opposite of what it's supposed to. A young furry character goes to the doctor for a checkup. They are way too short so their parents sign them up for growth hormone injections. They end up making him much short, resulting in some rather new experiences at the ground level!
3. Cub has growth spurts and they get out of control. Teen furry character experiences some late growth spurts and finally catches up to his classmate. Then realizes that they aren't stopping. Soon they are the tallest one in class!
4. Two cubs are subjected to a naughty teen babysitter. Two young furries are to be babysat by a rather laid back and lacksadaisy teen. When the teen falls asleep on the job, it's up to the cubs to take advantage of the situation.
5. Two cubs go on their first date. (Cubby Romance) Two young cubs have been having a school romance for a while now. After getting in trouble for in school activities, they decide to take their romance elsewhere.
I'm terribly sorry to hear that your drives didn't work out. *hugs* I did vote for one of the polls but I guess there just wasn't enough animo, it can happen as macro/micro combined with cubs is a rather rare combination and only a select group of people that I know of like the combo (or admit to liking it, which is a can of worms that I don't dare wish to open) so it's basically the nichest of niches and I totally wouldn't blame anyone for dropping it like it's hot.
