Every 100 Watchers is a milestone.
Just over a year ago I started doodling again. At the time I was a typical "nobody"; just another fan boy watching a bunch of upper-tier artists, with no plans to really contribute much to the art community.
I did some doodles for fun one day. Wasn't sure WHAT I should even doodle at the time... so I focused on something I love: cute stuff. Well, I did try my best for the time. Looking back, my art was pretty bad... but I kept at it. I even tried Streaming, since a few people I love to watch Art do Streams time to time. I gathered a couple of curious followers who said my art was not too terrible. That was pretty nice, having people appreciate the inner workings of the art and what it suggests, rather than basing the final art on skill and polish alone. Without the early support... who knows? I'd have maybe made a dozen doodles, and then quit or something.
Over time I tackled a project that was too big to tackle, my old long-abandoned comic idea. I wanted to do some sort of incest drama romance story, but didn't know how or where to start.
Talking about this idea in a Stream, one fan shouted out their idea: "Draw a Lynx character!" ……..
I didn't even know how to draw recognizable species at the time, let alone a Lynx. You're a bastard, Wolf. <3
And so I did. I took a risk, fumbled a LOT... but here we are. Finally at 700 Watchers.
I often struggle, between work, family, my own well being and motivation. Sometimes you just want to come home and stare at 5 hours of cat videos because your day was so horrible.
But seeing 700 Watchers... I know that I've improved, and what I draw isn't so terrible if it can attract a few extra sets of curious eyes every week.
So again, for continuing to read my pages, for getting my page view count up high enough to get this comic on the front page once in a while... thank you. Thank you for putting up with my blue-balling story arcs, and upload delays, and many mistakes I seem to keep making in every comic page submission.
Seeing that my work is appreciated makes me feel more inclined to share the story I have in my head with you guys and gals.
Since the "sex scene" with Amy and Aiden will be delayed, story-wise, I thought I could add in a spoiler here below so impatient people can see what I'm planning. For those that don't want full details, just know that sex WILL happen that night. Just not... right away...
Amy and Aiden will continue reading the porn magazine together. Amy of course is gonna be rubbing, and Aiden, even though he's still limp, wants to explore more with his sister.
He follows some teachings from the porno and performs some oral/fingering stuff. It gets a little intense for the two of them. One of them initiates the idea of "stick it in" from the magazine, and are about to... until plans get ruined. Little bit of real life to play with, like a fun and awkward dinner meeting, a little evening montage of nightly routine (a montage, nothing drawn out too long), some sneaky plans to meet up after bedtime... and then some beautiful visual poetry followed by first-time sex. Once the first day is complete, the start of my comic will be officially over, and I can move on to the slice-of-life story arcs after.
