Lost A Good Friend For Stupid Reasons

So im supposed to be working on commissions today but i no longer feel like it im just to upset right now.

A very good close friend of mine has had a falling out with me, we had been going on for nearly 2 years now and where quite close, and sure we disagreed on lots of things we had completely different views on some video games and even people but it was fine it was a rare case of we knew everyone likes different things.

However i guess recently she decided to show her true colors after a disagreement over the new pokemon games. After the announcement i disagreed with her and said i wasnt fussed on the new starter designs i felt they feel a little samey. Now i felt it was okay to say this as we disagree with a lot of pokemon designs but apparently this was too much for her and she went on the attack, after berating me for several messages she finally just started ignoring me all together.

Its been over a month now over this stupid thing and today she told me to just stop messaging her so thats what im gonna do.

Now im at the point of tears and just feel like giving up as i lost one of my closest friends over god damn pokemon designs of all things.

So yeah im sorry but i may be a little late on any pending commissions and requests.

Honestly I used to be like it to but i learned to stop being so defensive about things and now i have plenty of friends who like different things to me and we still get along

If someone gets upset and berates you over pokemon then they werent a friend to begin with. Best look for more stable companions.

Sounds like nothing was right or good for her unless it catered for her own needs. She was using you like an accessory for attention i'm afraid and tossed you when it was not all about her. Not even worth the effort of worrying with those kinds of people as they are toxic and come back as soon as something goes wrong with another person she messes with and acts like a victim to get your trust back.

To me it seems she was already just waiting for some opportunity to throw you away as an argument over something so simple would not break up a real friend and they would just laugh it off.

Yeah with how out of nowhere this came from it feels to me shes blaming me for issues shes having and instead of talking it out with me as a friend as i have said before i will help and i have done in the past, shes using this pokemon thing as an excuse to finally let lose.

If she ever comes back i dont think things would ever be the same and we could be as good friends as we used to

Don't even bother try being a friend even, she is getting what she wants then still.
