When it comes to rule 34 for Mickey and Minnie, I see two styles. On-model, which is more accurate, and off-model, which gives the characters abnormal and more human-like appearance. I saw someone make a mention on Furaffinity of how they think the on-model look doesn't work.
I don't agree. Personally, I prefer the on-model look. It's cute, sexy, and more natural. I believe that rule 34 doesn't have to be completely about eroticness. It can also be cute too. I personally feel that that's one issue when it comes to rule 34; people try to focus too much on the sexual side of it and not on the romantic intimacy of it. That's why in my stories, I never write about the mice being different. I did have someone tell me once I should give Minnie larger breasts, but I won't do it. When I write stories about the mice, they'll always be on-model. I'll never change their proportions to make them more sexy because I don't want that.
I want and prefer an on-model, natural to the characters feel. That's what I prefer in art, and that's what I prefer in stories. So when I write, you can be assured Minnie will never have big breasts. She'll always be flat chested. She'll never have a different body. She'll always be slim. Mickey will never be buff. He'll be his natural self. When I write mature stories with the mice, it isn't totally about the sexiness of it. I also want to focus on the romance, intimacy, and the cuteness. I believe that sexy can be cute too.
I'm not against other artist's or writer's styles nor am I bashing anyone because of doing something different. I still respect other people's ideas and how they do things, and I'm happy their works get great attention. And it's still great stuff. I just prefer the on-model look, personally.
But that's me.
