Depression

I've been having a lot of trouble getting out of bed lately.
And listening to too much Gilbert O'Sullivan.

Between all my life stuff, being late on commissions, being suspended from FA, broken glasses, 1800$ car repairs, and all sorts of other kicks in the nethers, it's just difficult for me to stay motivated to do my daily tasks.

Take your time and don't push yourself, life sometimes just kicks ya in the proverbial nethers all at once sometimes. Such is the roller coaster of life full of ups and downs. But it will always get better! Stay strong kitten <3

I got suspended from FA for having a link to my IB on there once.

Grade A site with grade A staff.

Roger, I know I have a few things in your backlog. Please consider this message my official approval for you to take as much time as you need.
Yeah, Im eager to get my commissions. But I commissioned them from you in the first place because *I like you*, you make nice things that make me happy.
The point being that if you make yourself more miserable just to finish up the work, then that is completely the opposite of why I commissioned it in the first place.

I can’t speak for everyone, but you have *my* support for however long you need to get through this rough patch.

Seriously, take your time, I'm so glad you are talking to us and I'm happy you are safe. Life always tries to pull everyone down but standing up against it, is what makes you strong.

I'm sure everyone here will understand and I myself have been gone from the furry community for 10 whole years. LoL,
so don't stress out. Be who you need to be and do what you want to do.

We've all been there and some more than others unfortunately. I actually think I had a lil bout there a good while back. Didn't do anything but sleep for like a good week. I wouldn't worry about the FA thing. Possibly yet another mod white knighting against people that like cub. Dunno on ya prescription, but have ya looked for temporary glasses you can use? Stores do sell them but they aren't for special cases usually. How are they even broken? Usual frame or bad screw at the hinge? As for car repairs, nothing is that much unless its a new transmission or engine. Multiple issues maybe but have ya thought of doing it yourself? Do you know what the problem is? I'm guessing so if you have an amount. I know its daunting for some, hell I gotta replace the head gaskets on mine, but its really not that difficult. Kinda like very elaborate legos.

Oh and just work on the commissions as ya can. Ya they are extra money but working on em in this state can just have ya banging ya head against a wall thinking they aren't good enough and all that. Though really quality of art doesn't degrade that quickly and just because ya are feeling down. You'll still be producing art near to what you usually do, ya mind is just making you think its not good enough. Stay positive as you work and just try to ignore that feeling. Send it to a close friend as you work that will be truthful with you and let you know how its coming along.

Luck to ya on picking yaself up and remember a good many of us have been there and know what its like.

It's been such a bad year for so many people I know, I'm sorry that you're also having a rough one too :(

Take your time and grind through the necessities, they'll eventually ease off, then take a break and some time for yourself! It helps so much and when you feel up to arting again, we'll all be here for you. This should be fun; not an obligation!
