I just want to play Minecraft Dammit

I was planning a big series for my youtube series to return to minecraft, but nearly everything I do is met with some kind of setback, I know Minecraft is famous for being poorly optimised but I have a Beast in Training of a computer and I shouldn't be having this much trouble

I should probably be more specific, I want to play modded Minecraft, and I get annoyed seeing everyone playing these popular mod packs with no lag, but I either get massive lag or the mod packs that should be stable wont run at all, I've made a lengthy post on the forums and I pray someone tells me I'm a complete idiot and I just missed something

I will say as an alternative I've been playing this game called Crashlands and I love it to death
