So it turns out a lot of right-wingers are absolutely floored that they are actually losing more money to taxes with the 'tax cuts' that they were convinced beyond all reason and doubt were going to somehow make every one of them a millionaire whilst draining every 'ebil leffis' of income.
It turns out that when the left said that a trillion+ USD tax cut for massive corporations would disproportionately shift the burden of taxation onto the middle and lower classes we were fucking spot-on.
I was done throwing out the benefit of the doubt a while ago, and even less so now. This is proof that we on the left were correct about the tax scam - which I hope those that supported it see as a scam now. We were correct that this was only here for the mega-corps and ultra-rich. We were correct that Trump wasn't going to magic a capitalist free market solution to affordable healthcare (which doesn't exist). We were correct that the wages wouldn't increase and that jobs wouldn't 'return to America' as corporations had even more money.
Its time to STOP backing policies based on what hurts people you disagree with or based on half-assed memes made in paint and over-layed with text and start actually thinking about why and what with policies. This self-fulfilling prophecy of vindictive moronicism is unsustainable. This tax break was a scam to have you pay for mega-corporations - that have largely abandoned their promises of raising wages or making jobs - to have an even larger slice of the pie and even more money to influence elections, extort workers, and fuck over the US and any other nation they need in order to make a profit for the bosses. The far-right do not have your interests in heart, the policies of the right are not those that take into account people's humanity and seek to see people prosper.
