KH3 non spoiler review

Ok first off let me stress this game has not been worked on for 13 years, if it was there would be more content given. With that out of the way

Worlds:
Before you ask no, every world was revealed at e3 and so on, there arent any worlds that were hidden away. Out of the 9 worlds in the game only 7 of them can really be called worlds. Twilight town and the keyblade graveyard are painfully small, and hell the graveyard doesnt even have enemies to fight, its just one big corridor of one and done boss rushing.
These are not open sandboxes either, they are still divded into sections and loading screens but i will stress the areas are gigantic. If your expecting NPC's to give you missions..................it only happens once in herc's world. Every other npc in the game are just, there. The worst level for me is the big hero 6 level, crimnially small compared to other worlds despite it being a city, cant even go to certain parts of the city.

Story:
honestly i dont understand most of the stories in the worlds. On one hand you got sora and the others takeing part in original stories like in monsteropolis and the toy box, but rapunzels world and frozen's world are beat for beat the movie. Im not even joking its like putting sora and his friends in those world were an aftermath. One scene they put the entire frozen song "let it go" frame by frame from the movie, and it occasionally cuts to sora donald and goofy makeing there way up the moutnain. They dont join in, they dont interact, there just there. When KH 1 and 2 did more unique stories you know theres a problem.

Minigames:
There ok. I mean at the very least i had fun doing them, but heres the problem, theres only like 4 of them if you dont count the Flan missions which are basically the mushroom mission from KH2 but piss easy. There are 2VR missions in the big hero 6 world, 2, out of that big city, just 2. Why?
The gummi ship missions while fun, dont really give you an incintive to 100% complete. Hell getting all A ranks and completeing all the missions dont even give you a trophy.

Overall:
KH3 is a good game, its just really lacking. Like i said its been 13 years since KH2 and it doesnt make any sense why this game is lacking so much. Outside the main story theres just not much to do, you dont even get abilities from leveling up after level 30 so theres no point to that cept to get the trophy.
Should you buy the game? yes i think so
But just no there is no critical mode and the game story wise still clocks in about 20 to 25 hours
So, up to you all.

It's funny that it takes 13 years for KH3 to be made and then there's Organization XIII. 13 years = Organization XIII. lol

In general the main issue is how people have their expectations TOO high all the time. Especially since they keep saying it been 13 years since KH2 as if KH3 is the sequel to KH2 (when its not). I dont see KH3 as a game that meant to be better, I just see it as a small chapter to a bigger story. Granted it cos I been following the plot for years and honestly every KH game had a lack luster plot that dont deliver everywhere. That includes KH1.

KH3 is divisive only because gamers blinded by nostalgia religiously praise KH2 to the point anyone who dont like it are mercilessly harassed for it.

i wont deny that, but it feels like alot is missing, i feel KH had much more to do. I think the biggest reason i feel this way is the leveling up system. After lv 40 you stop getting abilities makeing leveling up in this game pointless, especially how easy it is.

Nomura said critical mode will be dlc, some free dlc some paid dlc so at least i wont have to buy a final mix of the game.
