It's raining cats & dogs!

Yes, an unusual 3.5" of rain, today, in Eureka (so far), so thank goodness for YouTube live streaming, so I could watch the total lunar eclipse from LA's Griffith Observatory, 600 miles southeast of me, where they have not a cloud in the sky!

I know what you mean... This isn't my first total lunar eclipse, but since the next total lunar eclipse is in March of 2021...

This last storm bullseyed right at Eureka, and we got quite a soaking! Normally, the rain here is seldom more than 1-1½", so a 3½" day is unusual. (3.56" accumulation, as I type.)

Nothing like a solar eclipse, though! ;)
