Quality VS Quantity

I always try my best when I draw something, going with "fancy" backgrounds ; At least relative to my quite low art skills level. However at this point I'm starting to get really annoyed by that, because I want to draw more for everyone, but my stubborn pride wants me to only draw fancy backgrounds on everything I draw, and my low motivation doesn't help much.

At this point I think it's better to be asking everyone here, what should I do ? Should I tone down my overall quality production so I get to draw more, or do I stay to my current level and instead whip myself to get to draw more often ?

I'm also thinking to have some sort of poll every month or so and proposing some characters I want to draw and leave you guys to decide which one I should be drawing, however since I'm not a very popular artist I don't think that would work out very well in the long run

If you want to draw more you should make more simple background, don't mean the quality will go down. But you should do some tests and see if you like it doing simple background and see if it's a good quality 4 you
