Vegans are kind of crazy?

Sometimes. I dunno I notice now more that I'm older but sometimes it's kind of a crazier world for them.

I was a vegetarian for a few years during college and it was fine but I missed eating for cheap and wanted to get buffer so ate more meat and stuff.

Now though I'm re thinking about my health and I may probably axe out meat again because I really don't like eating animals lol

But to go completely vegan I can't really get by. Protein from eggs is good and if I'm stranded on an island I gotta eat fish I guess.

You need to eat a healthy diet.  I won't say if that includes animals or not.

About the only meat I eat regularly any more is chicken, sometimes turkey or fish, very rarely beef.

I've been trying hard to just not eat beef anymore. It's just unappetizing to look at.

I love chicken I eat it nearly every day but I could probably eat more fish definitely. Do you have a type of fish you prefer? I used to love tilapia but I read that it's not that healthy or something >.<

I will say that's it not easy.  But it's getting easier.  More vegan options seem to be appearing sort of quickly, which is nice.  But it's still hard.

As far as cheap/expensive goes...I think the main thing that makes the difference is whether you have the time to cook or not.  If you have the time to prepare all of your meals, which includes cooking raw greens and grains and stuff, then i think you can probably do it pretty cheaply and be super healthy.  But if you don't have the time, then you're gonna have to rely on pre-prepared stuff at restaurants (eg. salad bars), which gets pricey and leaves few options.  Or you can eat vegan junk food from grocery stores, which isn't even healthy, and is also expensive.

I would say, slowly replace the eggs with a big bowl of beans or lentils.  I eat about a cooked cup's worth with lunch every day.  They have a good amount of protein.  You can also throw in some nuts as well if they work for you.  Gonna have to get used to the up in fiber intake, but in the end it's healthier.

Also gotta take B12, or you'll have serious problems.

If you want any advice on it or have questions, just PM me, I've been doing it for a couple years now~ :)
