I find this amusing. What I find even more amusing is that people are shocked that I don't know about a black and white movie, which is something most people my age are a bit young for anyway. And besides, given I have some eyesight trouble, black and white anything is really difficult for me to make out. (Unless it's a well-contrasted sketch and even then, I have to stop and look at it to understand what it is.)
Someone pointed out Star Wars, but I'm having a hard time guessing which one it is, since I was looking for the one with terrible 80s special effects and terrible 80s cosplayers filmed with terrible 80s filming technology. I watched it once in my life, in highschool, and by "watched" I mean sat in the back and drew. Too bad my teachers would never show anything animated.
Trolling nerds aside, it is actually true that I don't pay much attention to things that aren't animated. For one thing, animated characters are a lot easier to recognize than humans in a live-action film. (All humans look the same to me, unless their skin color is different or they have really crazy hair.) For another thing, I think humans are fugly sons of bitches. I'd rather watch anime where everything is idealized and cute. (Unless you're evil, then you're a fugly son of a bitch.)
Probably should put this here somewhere but I really do have a hard time recognizing people in real life. I remember voices, not faces. And that's usually only if I cared enough to listen or someone has a noticeable voice. :V
