Sooooo, I can't quite work out what I need to do here on IB to engage with followers when I post a short story along with an art piece. Sure, I want to show off the comissioned art and get the artist some extra follows/recognition, and I accept that some folk will comment on just the art, but even then that's rare enough on this site. FA, for all its problems, seems a lot more social/engaging, and I've had comments left for both the art *and* the short stories I post with them.
Should I be posting stories separately here, and then posting the art either before or afterwards separately? What do I have to do to get criticism or feedback here? I don't know what works or doesn't with my writing, and I'm not going to learn when met with a wall of silent "favourite" notifications.
Help a chee out, I do this for you guys and gals as much as myself. If you don't like the stories, then just tell me, and I'll quit posting them on IB.
