First I would like to take the time to time to wish everyone a happy new years. I just got home from my snowboarding trip and wasn't able to properly write a journal until now. For those curious, yes I made it out without hurting myself. I know my limits when it comes to winter sports so I was more than confident enough regarding this trip. That being said, I am back home now and will be going back to work on Thursday. For stories, I plan on starting things back up possibly this weekend.
As for 2018, I won't miss the year at all. As most know I was pretty badly injured at Megaplex so I won't be looking back again any time soon. I've recovered now and minus that major hiccup, I guess 2018 wasn't bad. I got far more story commissions in 2018 than I did the previous year and I'm really grateful for that. Work continues to be much of the same, despite the overwhelming amount of overtime I've put in this year. However, I won't complain because I was able to knock out a sizable sum of my medical bill because of this and some minor help from some lovely furries, some of which I didn't even know.
For 2019, I am unsure if I want to do another furcon. If I do, then it will be far more local than Megaplex. For stories, I wish to continue writing for the fandom and hope that people will continue to support my growth as a writer. Going forward my art commissions are going to slow down a lot, because I believe I am overspending. With exception of Patreon I will be stopping all art commissions with exception of those that I can pay with from my story money. Hopefully, this won't hurt my visibility too much, but I think I have enough art at this point.
I would like to thank everyone has supported me this year through thick and thin. I hope to continue to produce for you this year. Heres to a great 2019 and beyond. Happy new years!
