Medical Update 12312018: Last Medical Update for 2018...

May 2018 go to hell! It's been an expensive year, expensive to me and my person. Too many lost chances of making an income, making things possible for others, teaching others and helping them get to the next step in life. Too many missed opportunities because too many out there only care about getting their pockets lined and not helping those they serve. FUCK THEM ALL!!!

Medically speaking, it has been up and down. Things have turned for the worse and then suddenly get better. Pill count has been fluctuating from 8 to 10. Still waiting on reports of lead and mercury poisoning, as it may answer some questions as to what is going on. Currently at 9 pills a day, but I have not felt this good in a long time. That I can thank those of you who put me in your prayers.

NYS is a bitch that needs to be slapped and beaten down. Social Security explained to me in writing that I am going to get a certain amount (60% of what I used to get when I worked), but Social Security explained that they were giving me 75% of that amount and the rest comes from NYS Disability and Social Services. Since 2013, NYS has given me nothing, making claims that the money is going to my health insurance and my treatments (Bullshit since the Parks Dept. agreed to pay for my treatments as long as I promise not to take them to court - so that is already been paid for!). Furthermore, they state a certain amount - 25% of what they are supposed to give me, is the amount they are paying for my health insurance. I had United Health Care, they switched to WellCare, and then after 3 months, they cancel it. WTF New York State!!! YOU OWE ME!!! You Don't Want Me To Lawyer Up And SUE YOUR DAMN ASS For 8 Figures!!!

Because of them I have to pay for my meds and now I'm getting medical bills from the hospital that THEY were supposed to pay!  It is just too much stress. No one should be fighting so hard to receive so little.

Except for the stress, I'm doing OK. Not perfect, not 100%, but at least I reached past 75% and I'll take that for now and keep working hard for the rest. I don't mind. It is a challenge. I got things to do, get better in my situation and do what I can for myself and for others. These past couple weeks have been looking up. 2019 is looking to be a better year than the past couple years. One can only hope for the best.

Good luck to you all, hope 2019 is better for you than 2018 was. You're all in my heart and prayers. God bless you all!

Although I could never truly understand how you feel from all this I can still empathise and understand the emotions you have. It's not right both that these things happen, those who allow it (intentionally or unintentionally, how the latter I view is how they act after) and how others exploit and abuse them.

Thank you for understanding!

No problem, my health and disabilities affected my life and limited my options as well. But don't make a mistake I did, use them as a crutch.

I hear you! And thanks for the advice. As mind numbing the situation is, I will take your words to heart.

No problem. I was encouraged to as it was seen as saying they (disabilities) were there would mean I'd get help for them, which I was legally entitled too by human and disability rights law but it went nowhere and I became dependent on others to much and unable too support myself.
Then mental health and high functioning autism are brushed aside. Being poisoned in what could be described as attempted homicide and damaged should be seen as a clear cut case.

I know it's been said before but US healthcare is crazy!

Medicaid has been a Godsend. I only qualify because my wife has extraordinary medical bills. 6 more months, and I'm on Medicare. I'm told I will still qualify for Medicaid while I work; it will become my secondary coverage. No out of pockets, but long waits for specialist. I finally got to see a rheomatologist

Thumbs up to that, GM!

Just found out my primary doc up and moved to practice medicine at another facility (probably NYU Medical since they just got $1Billion from Senator Shummer to improve cardiac care, a lot of docs are moving to there...). No one told me of this move, which according to the receptionist happened at the end of summer. Another reason to pull my hair out and scream! Had to get a new doc and make an appointment, Mid February was the only the date they had available.
