I'm really glad to see Weasyl(link) get such a nice revive due to the Tumblr Purge. I was afraid it wouldn't have been as well known to be able to get a surge, but I'm quite happy to see all sorts of new artists join the site, some artists returning, and much more activity overall. Right now is a good time to join weasyl, or maybe check back in and revive one you already have. :D Afterall, a community grows when people put some effort into it.
If you are an artist who has trouble handling multiple artsites, someone was just awesome to have created a multi-uploader called Postybirb(Link). This way you will be able to upload to multiple artsites at once if you are up for it. It also has a Journals multi-upload. I hope this might be able to take the strain away from you, and possibly encourage artists to post artwork when they previously felt it too much work.
