To Smash Players...

To all of you I have ever mocked for refusing to play any Smash game without a gamecube controller, I have something to say.

I'M SORRY, I UNDERSTAND NOW.

To be honest Ultimate is no longer the same case but the others definitely needed the GCC... so much better with one on those.

Every game I think "Oh, I don't need to bust out my GCC". Every game I am proven so very wrong.

I use the dual joycon controls but played online a bit using single joycon and won.

GCC is nice, but this is my new(ish) goto:

https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-SF30-Controller-Windows-m...

Bluetooth, USB C, has a full set of buttons, two analog sticks and looks like a Super Famicom controller. They also have an American color scheme as well as a few others. The Famicom and American SNES ones are discontinued off the 8BitDo website, so you have to buy them off of Amazon while supplies last.

Also, the new ones have a slighter smaller form factor and the shoulder button bumpers have a different layout. I much prefer the SNES/SFam ones.

Hmmm. Not a commercial, just sharing a bit of product joy for a toy I am very much enjoying...

I couldn't really use the joycons very well, it's the feel of the gamecube controller that makes me enjoy it.

Next, play Dark Souls with the proper Keyb./Mouse patch...on PC. :)

The Pro Controller works really well for me (they're just way too expensive). Never really played Melee, which probably has something to do with that.
