No Patreon for this Birdie

I just got through reading

's journal & found out some interesting stuff about Patreon - I didn't know that they censor or delete accounts because of their "content" - I know some great artists who use Patreon as a source of income, but I'll support the artists - but I won't get a Patreon any time soon. Thanks for sharing that info

I know some artists that use it and they seem to do cub work and the like. If you ever considered using it, I would talk to established artists on how do they do it and stay in the guidelines.

It's alright, but one time on a whim they cut off my friend's two accounts for like a month because of the hullaballoo surrounding the FOSTA-SESTA bill, coincidentally roundabout the time cub porn was rearing to get banned on SoFurry. Our understanding was that they were freaking about his username and email being

, and the game contents being Run-or-Rape. All in all, the situation was very irresponsibly handled by bots. It's just a matter of watching out everywhere. Anywhere digitally you make money, be it YouTube, Twitter, etc... your livelihood can be affected by bots scanning a few keywords that you're caught in the middle of. He got it all sussed out of course, but that was at the end of the month.
