Long time ago I had ranted about seeing pics I commissioned being reposted on YouTube as part of slideshows. It actually does tick me off, since I commissioned it, but sadly I cannot do anything since I'm not the artist who drew those pics...
But tonight I found one of my actual pics, as part of a slideshow. While it still retains the signature, it is not even credited. None of the pics in that slideshow are.
I am not pointing to the video. I will probably file a DMCA takedown or something. But I don't want to give unneccesary advertising, nor I want anyone to harass anyone.
I don't mean to be a wanker, but to me that's as good as art theft.
Now, if you want to include my art in a slideshow or something, there's something that you will have to do. Here's a few simple rules:
1. Ask me for permission. 2. Credit me in your video!
Otherwise if I find it I will end up reporting it for takedown.
