To begin this post,
It is an open secret that I'm stuck living in Mexico City. And everyone that knows it, also knows how much I hate this country.
Well, tomorrow a new President takes charge. López Obrador, you might already know about this.
Most people here is excited about him, and the so-called "Fourth transformation".
But I'm already paranoid. Leftist governments in Latin America have resulted to be authoritarian commies.
There's Cuba. Venezuela. Nicaragua. Those are leftist governments and NONE of those countries is first world. And neither I see Mexico being first world during my lifetime.
I don't know if he'll be able to handle an already fucked up country, or even if he doesn't have an agenda like Maduro, the Castro clan or Ortega. I might even be in the upcoming government target, given how subversive I am. I would not shut up if a bad decision from them affects me directly.
So, if something happens... If I stop coming online, there's two chances:
They assassinated me, or they took me as a political prisoner.
Because that's what happens with the left. Especially in regions like this.
