I had a police officer visit me yesterday. Apparently investigating a report of Fraud and Theft. Turns out Unemployment Screwed up and Charged the wrong company claiming it was the last one I worked at.
The company of course called the police stating they had never had Me as an employee. So the police did some digging and found that there was a way that I could have stolen the companies Federal Tax Number. So they arrived to do an arrest if it wasn't for the fact that I keep EVERYTHING. I was able to prove that I had not stolen anything or committed no fraud.
The Police then thought My identity had been stolen, after a visit to the Unemployment office I found their mistake had them fix it and sorted everything out. I called the police let them know what had happened. they Thanked me, and thats what happened yesterday.
And people wonder why I'm so stressed...
