Today is a sad day. In one month, we not only lose Stan Lee, one of the most creative minds ever, but we also lose a man who brought smiles to children for nearly 20 years. I remember watching this show every day when I was a kid, and even tuning in to watch the show nowadays. This show was one of the best shows Nickelodeon ever aired, and while some will say it was never the same after the movie, that was after Stephen left and it still brought wonderful memories to those who remember the show's best moments.
Man, 2018 has just been filled with mourning, from both normal people who were lost from hurricanes and fires, to creative and intelligent people like Stephen Hawking, Adam West, and Stan Lee. Just a reminder to let those you care about know that you love them. Life is short and sometimes, tragedy can cut that life even shorter, and you never know when life is going to change for the worse.
RIP Stephen Hillenburg, from all those who enjoyed your work.
