I am trying, with some difficulty, to finish one of the stories in my commission queue - Alpha Rivals 2. Still lethargic about doing art or stories, but these last few in my queue have waited far too long.
I know the feeling. I'm stuck on a couple of projects, so I dive into a small project and do it as fast as as I can and then try to ride that wave to finish some part of the unfinished ones.

In the last year, except for Alpha Bitch 8, the only stories I completed were four human-centric short stories, which I wrote for a different writers forum, primarily as entries for a contest in which the main prize was some art by an artist who also posts furry stuff here. I won, but before I could finish and post a fifth story, which I wasn’t able to finish by the contest deadline, that forum closed its doors. I had hoped by trying to write something completely different - mind control stories, which is very much outside of my usual genres and preferred kinks - it might kick-start my creativity. It did not help much. In a creative frenzy I did those four, but then I couldn’t even finish the fifth, and then I struggled to finish and post Alpha Bitch 8.
Alpha Rivals 2 is mostly outlined, and over halfway completed. As an apology to the commissioners for the delay, it will be roughly twice as long as they agreed to have me do, for the same price we agreed on for 10K words or so. It is slow going, and I will not even try to predict when it will be done.
Considering I used to be able to crank out a new 10,000 word story in just a couple days, my current lack of productivity is appalling to me. And I haven’t even tried to do any art in way too long.
Waiting on certain family personal matters to resolve before I post here about what has been affecting me so severely. Hopefully I can post that here some time in the next week or so. If you look over my old journals for the last two years, you’ll find references to some of it.
I will not accept any new commissions until my queue is empty, including the sponsored Swiss Mix chapters, and a few remaining Houseboy stories. After that? Well, I don’t yet know.
