Starting in October, I was given a new medication that should help with my tiredness problem. While I don’t feel as drowsy as I used to, there are still many times when I just want to lay down. I’m thinking it has to do with the fact that I can easily come up with story ideas when I’m in bed.
But enough about my medical history. Ever since I finished the MLP movie, I’ve been crazy for MLP, constantly rewatching clips from the film and filling myself with FIM Fiction. Seriously, all I want to do is sit on my laptop and just read/ Watch that stuff all day. I have difficulties falling asleep because the stories are stuck in my head and constantly replay themselves, blocking my soothing thoughts.
This has it’s ups and downs. The Stuff I’ve watched and Read has given me all sorts of ideas for potential story ideas, one of which I’ve made some good progress on. Unfortunately, this has diverted me heavily from diaperfur stuff, though I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. Still, I am happy to find something I’m really invested in, like the times with Spyro and Klonoa.
I’ve become so invested in MLP, that I had a forbidden thought: Making my own FIM Fic. I say this is forbidden because many are mocked for interest in Brony FanFiction. Heck, there was even a Joke about it on Rifftrax’s Riff of Mr. B Natural. I feel bad enough being a diaperfur, being a Brony as well feels like it would be too much.
However, many of my friends have FIM Fiction and they are all proud about it, so I Salute them for their courage. I’m also not sure how well I’d be at writing an FIM Fic. While I do have lots of experience with writing (It’s one of the few things I could make a career out of), I feel EXTREMELY embarrassed when in the presence of MLP, whether I’m watching it or writing it. Therefore, I’m not sure how far I’d get in a story. I certainly don’t want to publish an unfinished story like so many Writers on FIM Fiction do.
This also brings up another problem, I have difficulties writing. When I’m working on something I’m super interested in, I have no problems, but when I work on something I force myself to write, I can hardly write a single paragraph. I force myself to write because some of my major projects have fallen so far behind that they’re almost entering Hiatus. I don’t want them to end up like that, which is why I push on.
I’m sure I’ve pointed out before that I want to become a Novelist. I wrote a whole universe out for the book I wrote and actually managed to publish the first one. After that, things got kind of messy. I immediately started on my next book, but the first one had little notice, so I decided to try some things to increase the publicity.
My first idea was to write a Prequel to the first book. Every time I finish a chapter, I upload it to my book’s Deviant Art Page so new readers have the chance to become a fan of the series without having to spend money. The problem with this side project is that it is rather, boring. The First book had plenty of action and drama in it, while this one was focused on the backstories of several characters and the action wouldn’t happen until later in the story. As such, this one wasn’t fun to work on.
My second idea was to write a short story that takes place in the Book’s Universe and submit it to a magazine. This could potentially attract many new readers, but only if the story is well written. This is when I ran into a slight problem. Normally, before I write a story, I write an outline of the major events to help guide me. For this story, I didn’t do that and just made it up as I went along. As I was reaching the required word limit of 8000, I realized how stupid the plot became and I haven’t touched it since. I’m not sure if I should bother writing a new one.
A Lot of you may be asking about what the name of my book is. I want to share it with you all, I really do, but I feel it may be a bad idea. It’s pretty obvious that I don’t want my diaperfur-based accounts to be associated with my Real Life Novels, as that could lead to very bad publicity. Not to mention it could also reveal my “Interest” to members of my family. I never want to see that happen. If you are interested in my Novel, note me and maybe we can work something out in secret.
Jeez, that was a mouthful. Anything else for me to complain about? Well I tried Spyro: Reignited Trilogy for the first time yesterday and gave me a wonderful feeling of Nostalgia. It reminds me of when I first 100% the Original Game and how sad I felt when I returned to the Artisan home world, knowing the journey was over.
Anyway, thank you for reading this bizarre mix of subjects and I’ll appreciate any comments, except the annoying ones.
