Incorrect. Tumblr invented a bot to go through and delete all the porn bots that have been plagueing tumblr en masse. Downside is its broken as fuck and basically just deleting EVERYONE. SFW and NSFW alike.

Yeah, I'm just doing my best to get the word out because people are thinking its only attacking certain content or NSFW users in general. Instead it was just in an attempt to crack down on porn bots because they go after anyone.

No, there was a problem with actual child pornography rings involving real children. Their attempt to deal with this issue involved a lot of collateral damage but they're at least working to restore the wrongfully deleted accounts, particularly if you get in touch with tumblr support.

The big reason this happened is because Tumblr wasn't doing anything about the flood of actual real child porn on the site. Apple found out and since staff are lazy blunt instruments they just threw a poorly written algorithm at it. A lot of legitimate blogs are getting swept up in it. But they are restoring the ones that were wrongly deleted.
