Well, happy birthday to me, right?
I keep writing and re-writing the first few lines of this journal because I don’t want to sound bitchy. So I’ll stick mainly to the good stuff. My lovely, wonderful relatives have given me a little spending money, so I am thrilled that I can spend a bit, maybe get a couple of things that I’ve wanted to for a while. Shopping trip! And my mother gave me a really sparkly bracelet with tiger’s eye gemstones (my absolute favourite) that actually fits my abnormally small wrist. Yay! I already had my current laptop partly paid for by my parents back in January, due to there being a very good deal on, so not much else, though I was given a cute set of a mini hair straightener and hairdryer, which will be awesome to take with me when I stay overnight anywhere. Just will take me about three to four hours to straighten my hair with that tiny thing! I suppose it will cause some amusement along the road, hehe...
Only gutted that I desperately want to go out (pub or student bar, maybe for a meal beforehand?) BUT...everyone else has an essay deadline tomorrow meaning that even a one hour meal is a no-go zone, apparently. Bleah. Starting to wonder if it’s just an excuse, as no one suggested rescheduling or anything. Getting me a bit down, but it seems that if you complain about anything regarding your birthday you are automatically an attention whore.
Just want to go for a night out, people, not a crime.
Also don’t know whether I should be thrilled to have a cake to myself or whether I’m really sad. Because, on one side – I’m eating cake on my own, how sad is that? On the other side...a whole freaking CHOCOLATE cake! Score!
Yeah, I’ll go with the fact that it’s good.
Sorry, guys! *runs off with the cake* Mwahaha!
Oh, look, you know I have to be silly sometimes, come on. I’ll cyber share it :p
