Lol I love Christine. A lot of my favorite King movies are the underrated ones.

There was one thing that was crappy about a few model years of the Plymouth.
Chrysler Corporation (maker of the Plymouth) got in a hurry to introduce the newly restyled, longer, lower 1957 Plymouth (as well as the other Chrysler Corporation models), to get an edge on GM and Ford...Chrysler's advertisement slogan was, "It's 1960 already".
The 1957 was originally meant to be released as a 1960 model.
There were a lot of bugs still not worked out in the '57s, including rust setting in when the car wasn't very old...What made the rust problem even worse was that in May of the 1957 production year, the company switched from building the Plymouth as a full frame car to building them unibody...which would have worked well had it not been for them rusting out so bad.
My dad owned a 1957 Plymouth station wagon, and it was badly rusted out...and it was from the post May production built as a unibody car.
Quality issues still continued through the 1958 and 1959 model years. By the time the 1960 models were introduced, those issues were finally resolved...1960 was also the year that all Chrysler, Desoto, Plymouth and Dodge cars went unibody, except for the Imperial which went unibody sometime in the late 1960s.
