One particular one wrote how god would justify if he tracked me down and killed me. (I personally though that one was hilarious). Oh and for those who say (Aval0nX is just making that up, we'll I can send you the emails, just not their contact information since I don't want the people I know to go after these people. Let the ignorant stay ignorant, when a huge gap opens up on the ground and they get into their church to pray for deliverance, I'll be the one running to the hills (Insert run to the hills). Anyway I look at CNN and find that lil video and for a moment it seems like their criticizing the parents for dressing up their children like that...but for a moment it feels like their ok with it. Okay guys, first things first. Your game is just amazing. We all appreciate the hard work and dedication you put into it even though you both went through some rough times.
However, even though I love the game, and almost all the content in it, I find the footage in the first link completely disgusting and repulsive. As many have said and many more will probably say, our country is just completely fucked up. We treat people who even only have relationships with 17 year olds like they are horrible people and should be locked up for life, yet we somehow find it okay to have toddlers parading around on national television, in skimpy outfits, with fake boobs and asses. People who have sex with minors are horrible people, but when you have shit like this on tv, it just feeds their urges. It's normal to want to mate, its one of our base instincts.

That's no surprise, christians like to claim to be all lovey dovey to everyone, but throughout history they're among the most violent of any of the religions out there. It's actions like that that are the reason I've seperated myself from organize religion, though I still belive in the existance of a god I belive the organized religions are too corupted by centuries of politics and missinturpritation (intentional and other wise). For me it's simple: Treat others as kindly as you can, that's basicly it which really is the baises of almost any religion everything else is simply nitpicking.

People who decide to toss up the greatest gift of all, free will, and use "god" as a cop out for there actions are sick; if half the shit they believe is true, pretty sure using god as excuse to live out your desires counts as using god's name in vain. God doesn't force peoples hand that often, yet he/she/it gets the credit regardless. If you need to justify your actions with a book written by a man, then interpreted to you by who knows how many others, you need wake up, and realize if there really is a god why in the hell would he speak to you through a crazy religious leader who is very likely bad touching kids themselves. Hell that is so insanely common by religious zealots its typically the only thing they can pin on them when they go from radical, to cult status.
Not talking about Catholics either, I have seen more fucked up shit done in the odd ball local churches around where I live then the catholic church, they just are better at keeping it a secret. Case in point all my cousins I grew up with lost their virginity in grade school, most of them in the same damn dog house, get this at the preachers house, by the preachers daughter, and fucked up friends. You can't tell me a leader of a church had zero influence on his daughter who thinks its ok to play "doctor," or "house" in his back yard, these kids learn that from some one. Not to mention when the families found out they didn't call the cops, they found out the preacher, or what have you knew, and didn't plan on doing jack, he convinced them that they should leave his church and brush it under the rug, as if it tainted my family and not his. We went through 5 count it 5 local churches before I was in 5th, and no one told me it was because similar things were going around in all of them till I was 20 years old. My family had to give up on church all together because pedophilia was so damn common in the churches, that they as parents could hear rumors or catch signs of it in a matter of days, yet not one damn sole had the bawls to press charges, because it just wasn't the christian thing to do!
And don't even get me started about my family who go to these churches and cover up this shit, they grew up with it, and to them its a family matter, and shouldn't be spoken of. Also note the ones who are pro for covering it up, have similar personal stories, even a couple who either has taught the screwed up girl the adult "doctor," game or has put serious thought about doing it. I read the whole thing, I think South Park did the best at explaining how the church works. Not only the part about the priests, but the whole direct interpretation of the bible; the stories of the bible for example are stories, they were not written as documentations but to entertain while teaching morals and values.
When you start directly reading into things you get people like this who think its ok to exploit kids like this, and then turn around and say a completely fictional cartoon game, based off of a fictional cartoon, where no one underage is even involved... is EVIL!
Aval0nX and the team working on this project created all of the personalities and characters in the game, using the likeness of characters in the Sonic series. No one is hurt by the game, unlike the girl on that news segment.

Religion is not meant as a tool to push your own thoughts on other people, its meant to teach good morals, values, and how to treat one another.
I think I got a little rant happy there, but I agree with what your saying, you don't need organized religion to be religious, or know the difference between right and wrong. A lot of organized religions are corrupt today, for one reason or another. I've been to church about a dozen times in my lifetime, baptism, weddings, funerals, and I'm still a better person than a lot of people who go and pray their sins away.
