Story time.
When i was younger i used to play this game called FeralHeart a lot. Basically you could customize your own canine or big feline character, run around, chat with others or even build your own maps, markings etc. So it was more of a 3D chatroom than a game.
Similarly as to those online dollmakers i made a lot of characters on there, for which i created backstories in my mind and so on. And all this before i even knew what an OC/Fursona, yet alone the Furry fandom was.
Some people who've been following me for years might know i had an OC called Efeustern (Ivystar) which functioned like a Fursona for me when i was active on the german warriors board, before i joined DeviantArt and created Lucy.
But even before him there was this wolf called Sky which i associated a lot with. Which was created in FeralHeart. If i remember correctly, he was even the first character i created on there and the first one i designed in general. I think i drew him like once but only a traditional sketch which i believe is lost in time.
And now a lot of pictures resurfaced from the deep dark hole that is my external HDD. I took pictures of my computerscreen (young me didn't know how to screenshot) of all or at least most of the characters i created in this game, including Sky. I even remember most of their names, wtf (they're super cringy btw, i was like 11 or 12).
Anyway long story short, i rediscovered my first ever "Fursona" and i'm gonna make a reference for him in the future (even if it's just using a base). and maybe all the other characters as well. I just wanna give them some love because i never forgot them, Sky in particular, over all those years which i find kinda cool.
