Reasons

So. I feel that I need to expand on Hailey and Zoe's characters. Specifically the reason for their anamosity. I have always plannedon them disliking each other but never really considered WHY. So, any ideas? Lol

Just a quick thought:

Hailey's bio says she always has to be the center of attention. So with Zoe and her "assets" garnering so much attention instead, it seems only natural that Hailey would, rightly or wrongly, see Zoe as a rival for that attention. While Zoe, who is embarrassed about her body and in an increasingly uncomfortable relationship with her mother, who is pushing her to flaunt herself, might dislike Hailey as the embodiment of everything Mom is pushing her to be. Or perhaps as the ringleader of all the girls who are giving her shit because of her larger chest.

I think Zoe's a total cutie, though, and I hope that she'll get some more confidence in herself as she grows older. Maybe not in the way Claire wants her to, but just enough to know she is beautiful.

I think this is a good point,
a lot in teenage bullying is a form of jealousy and envy, def among girls.
I was bullied from my 8th till 11th for having "fat lips"... and before that because I could draw.
Luckily those two things weren't that much of an issue in my teens where other girls around me got bullied and had personal vendettas because they actually had things other did not. [gawd did I hide the fact I had a mobile phone back then xD]

One of my friends who had it bad started working as a super model at 14 and she was bullied to high heaven for it.
=w=' it's just teens and girls, a completely different market from adults and guys.
And I actually have a hard time getting it, as I am a bit of a DUDE chick.

But I def see Hailey be the type to have a unfounded hate for Zoe because she has a pretty opposite body shape from her [even if her own is great, but ye shall always crave what another has] that is much more in line with what Hailey might fancy for her Kardashien lifestyle.
And then Zoe not using it and being "strange" not being girly in Haileys eyes, on top of that Zoe is rather shy making her a easy scapegoat where Melody might be partly in the same boat but is much more snarky in reply to bullying so a trickier target.
Gawd don't even ask me what it is with teenage and even adult women that they seem to get some weird satisfaction in making each other feel like shit, but we see that nonsense in the furry community among adult a lot too so owo;
