How did your Turtles spoof came to be, what were the original ideas for them before what they came to be?

Originally I was watching the 2012 tmnt tv series which I really like and i was watching some anime too and I thought i could combine that together and make my own tmnt story with my own characters. There have been changes to the story to fit all of it in together like Marc's origin and other characters designs.
